Frequently Asked Questions

Rollin' Practice Sessions

For the adult sessions, the leader will guide the class through several turns of the Practice Wheel, each person practicing on mute with their own music.  Your Rollin’ session leader will guide you through a process of self-discovery–to help you continually deepen your craft, while deepening your relationship with yourself, and your relationship with how you learn.

The Teen Practice Club has a structure that covers their repertoire and review for lessons.  The leader will guide them through each part of their practice using the Practice Wheel.  All teens will be on mute while they practice.  We will not interfere with assignments from their teacher and will help them complete their work in a smooth, thoughtful way.

No! There is a basic structure we will always use that the Practice Wheel provides but the leader may linger in a specific area or topic on any given day.  Some days may feel like you are rolling the Practice Wheel fast and other days may feel like you are rolling the wheel in a slower, deeper way.

While you will receive the most benefits from daily consistency, we always hope you’ll join us whether it’s once a week or every day!  Our different packages and memberships support different levels of commitment.  Sign up for any session you can make.

No! Rollin’ practice sessions have the supportive energy of a group of other practicers, but you’ll be on ‘mute’ the whole time, so the sound and the content of your practicing will be completely yours, and completely private. It’s an incredible feeling knowing that you are in an experience together, in your own way.

As we grow, we hope to add more sessions so you have more options during the day or you can even come multiple times per day.

We highly recommend it as the sessions are designed with certain developmental stages in mind.  If you can’t make it to a session for your age and want to attend another sessions, you can but know that it won’t be the same.

Discord is a server based platform where teens can hangout and communicate.  It’s an app that teens are familiar with and use for hanging out with their friends.

Discord is designed for kids 13+.  Please review their privacy policy here.  We have measures set in place to scan and delete explicit content and we are always monitoring the server to make sure everyone complies with our rules.

Look for the Discord invite in your email reminder.  If you can’t find it, send us an email at rollinpractice@gmail.com.
